Expanding Horizons
AMKO unveiled its new, cutting-edge, 15,000 square foot facility in 2017. An additional 5,000 square foot expansion was completed in 2020 to enhance precision machining capabilities and reinforce the company's position as an industry leader. AMKO has the ability to expand its facility by an additional 23,000 square feet, bolstering its capacity to 43,000 square feet for advanced aerospace manufacturing and accommodating the growing demands of its current and new clientele.
New Equipment Investments AMKO is excited to announce its strategic decision to invest in state-of-the-art turning machinery that will significantly expand our ability to machine parts with diameters up to 30 inches. This bold move demonstrates our commitment to continually enhance our capabilities and meet the evolving demands of the aerospace industry. With this investment, we will be replacing our aging Okuma LC30 lathes over the next five years, starting in 2024. By embracing cutting-edge technology, we aim to stay ahead of the curve and provide our valued clients with unparalleled precision, efficiency, and quality in our machining processes.
