CNC LATHE OPERATOR

Job Description
As a CNC Lathe Operator at AMKO, you will play a critical role in the production of precision aerospace components. Your primary responsibility will be operating and maintaining CNC lathes to produce high-quality aerospace components according to design specifications. You will be tasked with setting up the lathes according to process diagrams, adjusting machine offsets, calibrating measuring equipment, and monitoring the machining process to ensure optimal performance. Additionally, you will assist in conducting inspections of finished products to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and make any necessary adjustments. Collaborating closely with the production team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area, promptly reporting any machine malfunctions, and performing routine maintenance as required. The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong understanding of CNC machining principles, proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, and exceptional attention to detail to consistently deliver precision components.
